New app can alert moms and dads if registered intercourse offender contacts the youngster

COVINGTON, Los Angeles. (WAFB) – as a result of a brand new statewide app, moms and dads is now able to monitor in case a intercourse offender attempts to contact the youngster.

Police agencies have partnered with OffenderWatch to generate the brand new app, called OffenderWatch Safe Virtual Neighborhood. The application monitors Snapchat, texts, email messages, GPS location, and telephone calls and can send a tuned in to moms and dads or guardians in cases where a intercourse offender contacts the child’s unit, or if perhaps the unit remains close to the address of the intercourse offender for the amount that is extended of.
