5 Reasons we Avoid RV Parks (and locations to camp alternatively! )

Before we purchased our camper, Tom and I also utilized to pass through RV parks and remark how crowded and abnormal they seemed. We’re able to perhaps maybe not imagine ourselves remaining in RV areas, and then we obviously assumed that you should not own an RV if you want to avoid RV parks.

Fast forward many years and not just did we obtain an RV, we lived as a camper since our Toyota Dolphin is a tiny motorhome, about the size of a camper van) in it full time (though we usually refer to it.

We lovingly bestowed on our Toyota Dolphin) we didn’t know much about camper living, and we weren’t sure where we could camp in the states besides, well, RV parks when we first bought La Peregrina (the name. So, at the beginning, we sucked it and remained in RV areas regarding the journey south to Mexico.

We would not think it’s great.

Baja, Mexico had been an excellent respite from the RV areas associated with states, ourselves camped on pristine beaches with small camper vans, other compact RV’s like ours, and tent campers as we regularly found.

Before we gone back to the usa I made the decision here needed to be better alternatives for us, and I did lots of research. As expected, after lots of digging, i ran across plenty of non-RV park camping options within the states, and from now on we really seldom find ourselves in RV areas!
